How to prepare for your first professional clean

01
Skip the pre-clean
You do not need to clean before the team arrives. Useful prep is access: keys or codes, parking notes, and which door to use.
02
Give the counters a chance
Move breakables and put away laundry piles you do not want handled. Empty sinks if you can.
03
Secure pets and note sensitivities
A comfortable closed room is kinder than a stressed animal underfoot. Mention scratch-prone surfaces and products to avoid.
04
Name the rooms that matter
Kitchen and baths usually come first. For move-out or post-construction, empty the space as much as you can.

Do I need to be home?
Only if that is how you prefer access. Many clients leave a code or lockbox after the first visit.
What if I have a dog that does not like guests?
Say so when you book. We plan around a closed room rather than forcing a greeting.
